This Faux metal technique is a little more involved than the my first one but I do love the results of this version.
Items needed:
- Metallic Embossing Powder (I used Silver)
- Heat gun
- Versamark™
- Stamps
- Cardstock (heavier cardstock works best) I used silver cardstock w/silver embossing powder
- Scissors
- Powder Pal® (optional)
1. Ink your stamp with Versamark ink and set aside
2. Cover cardstock completely with Versamark ink
3. Then cover with metallic embossing powder
4. Heat completely melting the embossing powder
5. Let it cool a little then cover with Versamark again
6. Cover with more embossing powder and reheat
You will need 4 layers to get a nice deep impression.
7. Once you have the 4 layers, working quickly you will reheat it and stamp your image onto the heated embossing powder and voila faux metal.
It's a little messy but well worth it. I would love to see what you come up with.
Enjoy!

Awesome! Really looks like you embossed the stamps on metal. Can you PLEASE give us a tutorial on this technique?
Thank you for sharing, just great!
